Dame Darcy is a cartoonist, sequential artist, and entertainer known world wide for her fanciful creations. At age 21 she scored her first publishing deal with Fantagraphics for her title Meatcake. She has never stopped creating her world, a world of beauty, hilarity, and occasional darkness. Since then she has published over 50 books. Today she is living as a mermaid in historic Savannah, GA.
