Witches Not Bitches! It’s 2012 and not just a new year a new ERA has begun! After 500 years of tyranny over ladies during the Pisces Fish Jesus Age (I love me up some Jesus BTW, I'm not a hater, because he was Jewish AND magic so please don't get me wrong). As of 11/11/11 we have now made the official shift into the Age of Aquarius.
An age where girls are now on top!
In this new beautiful world that many people fear because it is going to be MUCH different. It's like bizarro world in Superman where everything is now opposite. But all the systems from before were broken anyway so it's better now.
Yes, we must prepare ourselves. We may not have water unless we can collect and scientifically purify it from the sky but it's all going to be for the better in the long run so it's best to just prepare and accept.

My cowboy Grandpas birthday was 11/11/1918 the day peace was declared for WWI Armistice day. Anyways, on his Birthday this year 11/11/11 his spirit sent me a message through an Adam Ant video, look at this link and you will see what I mean. What I think he is telling me is the kind of guy that is my match, also the kind of guy he was and both him and Adam are Scorpio, though I hear Gemini n Scorpio are not supposed to be a good combo due to the possessiveness of Scorpio and the flirtatious nature of Gemini. However, my Grandpa and Grandma were a Scorpio/Gemini couple who's marriage lasted 50 years!

Adam Ant the Pirate and Daryl Hannah The Mermaid
It's the new harvest moon (a full moon) and I showed the crew of Naughty Nautical Nite the Stand and Deliver video from Adam Ant to give them inspiration for young aspiring lads as to what to wear for punk rock pirate D.I.Y. Couture.
Little did I know in doing so I would crack open my heart and brain so that for the last 4-5 days, day and night I can't get images of Adam Ant out of my mind! I'm working all day every day and all the other usual million shenanigans, but the whole time his songs play in my mind. Every spare moment I have, I watch his videos on repeat and Vincent found a video documentary on him that made it worse. At night I can barely sleep and when I do, I dream about Adam Ant. Jesus!
I've been crying about his ill mental health, while meditating to get over whatever chasm in my brain that video caused! I'm crying for his brain, but maybe I should look in the mirror. (like Adam Ant in the video Stand and Deliver...Aaarrrg!)
Anyways back to reality. I've always been on a Daryl Hanna kick, anyone with eyes in their head can see that. But now I realize after drawing the two Daryl and Adam LOOK ALIKE. They have the same forehead, nose, jawline, eyes, everything. My psychoanalysis of all this is that I saw Stand and Deliver and Splash in the same year, 1984, when I was 13. Clearly, these two made me the responsible adult I am today, who thinks she is a mermaid/pirate and does art and faggy cabarets while living in a dream world about what it would be like to sail the Caribbean. I think this is some unfinished business from my childhood (but what the heck isn't). Oh I just realized something, this is the same year I saw The Last Unicorn too...I'm totally fucked.

The Salt Maiden
Lets turn back the clock to a time when clocks didn't exist. The earth was an orb as it is today, but it had no water, and the creatures that now live in the ocean were clearly visible squirming around in the mud, flapping their long slimy tentacles pointlessly in vain.
Above all this mess shone the beautiful face of The Moon. She looked down with interest, disgust and pity at the pathetic loathsome beasts below and slowly turned in her orbit. Currently she is made of moon dust and rock, but then she was an egg made from smooth white salt that had not solidified quite yet.
She rotated and as she did, thin strands of moonlight wafted down upon the earth and entangled it like spider webs. Months passed by and eventually the egg began to crack. It took time eternal as we perceive it, but to her it was but a few moments. From the crack slowly emerged a beautiful baby made entirely of salt. Her skin was white, smooth and luminous and her hair lay flat and still against her head for there was no breeze on the moon.
In contrast, her eyes were dark and as deep and black as the endless universe surrounding her. The tiny glints of starlight reflecting back the shine she saw. Her salt heart would beat, counting the passing of time and thus insisting her growth but she had no need for lungs on the moon's airless surface.

I've lived in Savannah GA for six months now and I have to say life here just gets batter and better every day. It's like a magical vortex of freaks and anything I wish for comes true! Lately I've befriended other surreal writers and this has helped me put things into perspective. I believe that Savannah is like an onion skin, the more you peel the more weirdness is revealed and this is a place where the characters in my life range in all ages, races and religions and also from the spirit realm. I feel a wave swelling, and I think that Savannah may be to the children of the apocalypse, to what San Francisco was to the Flower Children of the 60's.

Many undeniable Magic moments have happened with this full moon. 2 days before I did a love spell and the candles kept burning over night, then the candles continued to burn for hours through the pouring rain! This love spell was for self-love and strength so I think this is a great sign for that and more! The next day I was at the beach for my friends birthday and I was thinking about how he has the same birthday as another friend of mine and on his birthday a few years ago we swam in the ocean with a giant school of dolphins, who then did circus tricks in the waves for hours. I was reminiscing on that date July 17th. When we went to the beach again on the same day and we saw 2 guys feeding dolphins one of them was named Mr. Angel, I kid you not. He asked me if I wanted to feed them and he took this photo right when one ate out of my hand! Love from your dolphin whispering mermaid pal Dame Darcy
It was so magical and amazing! I guess the appropriate attire for dolphin feeding is to look like holly hobby and wear a bonnet.
The beach is near Savannah GA its called Jekyll Island and my day there inspired me to do some dolphin paintings. Now here’s where I get environmental.

This event will be in Manhattan 7/23/11 . There will be another mermaid cabaret in Philly PA 7/27 & 7/28 when Naughty Nautical Nite arises from it’s watery grave.
Philadelphia's tall ship Gazela, will be hosting an 8 day arts and music festival at Penn’s Landing from Saturday July 23rd to Saturday July 30th. The festival will be held on the historic vessel’s wide deck. It is intended to highlight both the ship itself, as well as local artists, small businesses and cultural establishments in an opportunity to present their visual, musical and performing talents. Boasting over 25 concerts, workshops and performances, the schedule is jam-packed to include health and wellness demonstrations, yoga and gardening as well as Japanese and Chinese tea ceremonies. Admission varies by event. Average cost ranges from $5 to $25.
The event is a fundraiser for the Philadelphia Ship Preservation Guild, the charitable non-profit that owns, maintains and sails Gazela. Over 110 years old, Gazela is believed to be the oldest, wooden square-rigger still actively sailing in the United States. Originally built in Portugal and used as a dory carrier while fishing for cod off the Grand Banks, Gazela was retired in 1969 as the cod stocks began to dwindle. She was then purchased by Philadelphia philanthropist William Wikoff Smith, who not only donated the ship to Philadelphia, but also joined the crew that sailed her to Philadelphia from Lisbon in 1971.

Here in Savannah all seasons are blended into one, slippery orange leaves everywhere like fall covering the ground, but also springtime flower buds, and it's hot like summer.
Sometimes I have these dreams, when I am in them, they make me forget I live in the current reality I have now. They are so vivid, and the new atmosphere of the other place is so clear I think it's reality until I wake up.
I don't have them often; the last time was when I was dreaming of homes with marble staircases with pillars surrounded by huge trees draped with Spanish moss. I dreamed I was at an evening party with intellectuals and artists wearing light silk and velvet, I was with my "beaux" he was called in the dream, the stairs were split into two the staircase was so long, and there were other people on balconies looking over the railings.
Live musicians were playing a haunting fox trot. A friend of mine went thumbing down the stairs with his top hat rolling after him; he said, "I've been kicked out of all the best places". When I woke up I felt compelled to live in the place where I was in that alternate reality. This was the main reason I moved to Savannah.

Dead baby dolphins are currently washing up along the Gulf coast. But that hasn't stopped the US government this week from issuing the first deep water drilling permit since the BP oil disaster. And they're considering plans from BP and Shell to drill in the remote, pristine waters of the Arctic Ocean.
The truth is that scientists cannot say yet whether the dead baby dolphins are due to the BP disaster. In fact, scientists cannot say much of anything about the impacts of the BP oil spill on the Gulf of Mexico and its marine life because hundreds of millions of dollars set aside for research is stalled in government bureaucracy and BP backpedaling.
Send a message right now to the head of NOAA, Jane Lubchenco, calling on her to get those funds released so scientists can study the impacts of the Gulf of Mexico BP oil disaster.

Many young women eagerly jump into dating thinking they are going to experience love and romance, only to find themselves in a situation where they become coerced into sex without their consent. There is a fine line between snuggling and being held down so you can't get away.
I just heard about a horrible GOP bill that could redefine rape and set women's rights back by decades. Here's the deal: Right now, federal dollars can't be used for abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or when the woman's life is in danger. But the bill, introduced by Republican Congressman Chris Smith, would narrow that use to "cases of 'forcible' rape but not statutory or coerced rape."
As far too many women know, bruises and broken bones do not define rape—a lack of consent does. This bill is scary—so I signed a petition telling Congress to stand up and oppose the bill. Can you join me at the link below?

I moved to Savannah GA and so far it's dreamy here. There are beautiful 300 year old trees dripping with Spanish moss canopy. The entire city is full of antique dollhouses and haunted graveyards where the gravestones sink into the earth.

December and January have been very busy months, we moved and did shows during the holidays!
We did an awesome show at the Waldorf Hotel in Vancouver, A Tiki lounge time capsule from the 50's /art compound hotel which has a fun conference room. We had a comic convention in that space and the day we arrived there was a fashion show. They also have an amazing room for bands with a dynamite sound system, a Tiki bar lounge with a DJ, an in house hair salon, the cutest space aged bachelor pad rooms with and a restaurant who's food and service is off the hook! Thanks to Claudia and the Waldorf Gang we had the best time! For a truly magic experience in Vancouver BC I highly recommend The Wladorf Hotel it gets 6 stars! Thank you Ernesto, Claudia, Tom, Caesar, Kevin and EVERYONE at The Waldorf in Vancouver B.C.!
Our Dr. Sketchy's show in Austin was fantastic and fanciful. Thank you to the lovely ladies (and gentlemen) of Austin for dressing up like Meat Cake Comix characters: L'Amilia as Friend The Girl, Frannie as Strega Pez, Zoja as Effluvia, Dana as Richard Dirt, Colin as Wax Wolf, Drucilla and Isabelle as Dolls. Special love to Chris for making all the costumes and being Scampi The Selfish Shellfish. The turnout was great, thanks also to Domy Books for doing a great signing and Agent Ribbons for playing a wonderful show and Jack Martin. Love and thanks to L'Ameila Sweet, Molly Crabapple, Lori Jones & Ed, Angeliska Polacheck, Natalie Ribbons and everyone at the show. This event was made even more special because I was reunited with Carissa, a childhood friend of mine who recently had moved there. Seeing her again was really the cherry on top!

It's true what the song the Blue Faeiry sings. "When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are, anything your heart desires will come to you." To stick to a task when you have outlived the first spark of inspiration is a great thing, made even greater with the challenge. Magic Door To Success and Magic Manifestation Ring
First Step: Here's how to do the Magnetism Meditation:
In a quiet space, sit upright in a chair and visualize a rod or beam that is hollow like a tube stretching through your spine up to the heavens. This connects you to the universal law and then also goes down to the earth, grounding you.
Close your eyes and breathe through your nose, focus only on your breathing. If any thought comes into your mind put it in a pink bubble and pop the bubble with the word "thought". Do this as many times as desired until you have a clear mindscape.
To clear yourself of baggage, imagine actual baggage going down the tube from you into the ground and disappearing somewhere far away. You can also imagine sand or black smoke or anything else that represents negative energy you want to clear.
To Make a Manifestation Ring:
Get a ring you like, it doesn't have to be an expensive one, any costume jewelry, rhinestone ring will do. Hold it in your hand and really look at it, memorizing every detail. Now close your eyes and see the ring in your minds eye.
Now while you are holding the ring, picture a coil inside your solar plexus. It rotates around the beam grounding you to the earth and sky. Imagine it to be a warm color like red or orange. Feel it turn clockwise in your body and heat up like the coil in a space heater.
With each rotation, the feeling of magnetism becomes stronger. Now picture the ring you have in your hand in your minds eye, but this time even better. What is your favorite stone, or your birthstone? Visualize the ring in your hand turning into this ring, and how you feel with the ring on your finger.
When all feelings of doubt are gone and you feel certain about your manifestation of the ring, say to yourself "Now is the time, I accept my greatest gift." When you open your eyes, know with certainty that you will receive the ring, and now your only task is to keep on the look out for your ring. When it has been given to you, by the Universal Law put it on your finger and say thank you.
You will now have a magic ring as a daily reminder of your manifestation and magnetism magic. Now when you have a request or wish you want to magnetize, do the Magnetism Meditation and hold the request written on a piece of paper in your hand with the magic ring, repeat this process as many times as you want until you have everything your heart desires.
I have a true story of my own about this process, which I will reveal at the end of this chapter, as an example of how it worked for me so it can work for you.
Door To Success:
Use the same techniques to magnetize a doorknob. You can use any doorknob you like, one of colored cut glass, old-fashioned embellished brass or a perfectly round one that looks like a crystal ball.
When you do your meditation, hold the doorknob in your hand and visualize it becoming empowered with the word "Yes". When you open your eyes, know with certainty that you will receive anything you request.
For instance if you are going to a party where you want to make new friends, before you open the real door, place your magic door knob on the door and turn it saying "Nothing is to good to be true. I am open to receiving everything my heart desires." Then, slipping the doorknob into your purse safely out of sight, walk into the room and greet your new friends.
This applies to anything you once had uncertainty with, it will imbibe you with the power to magnetize, manifest, and own any new reality in life you want.
Never tell anyone about the Magnetizing Ring, or show the Doorknob of Success to any one except perhaps your most trusted witch sister. The reason for this is because if you keep your magic to yourself, it remains crystal clear, and unclouded from other people and their intentions. There is a saying in Portugal, "Do not feed your sheep to the wolf."

I took a pilgrimage around the North West. I visited Idaho, Montana, Canada, and Seattle. While in Idaho, seeing my cousins and their kids who I had never met before, my Grandma and Dad reminded me of a part of my life that is always there even when I am not. I learned new stories about my Great Grandma Stanger that I never heard before. Bone Idaho is a ranch in the mountains that holds some of my most precious memories, My great grandmother first taught school there at the turn of the century. When Great Grandpa was 20, he had a crush on her, so when the kids were outside playing he paid 2 boys a nickel each to start a fight so Grandma would come outside and could see him being heroic and breaking up the row. Apparently on first sight she was impressed by his yellow boots. That ten cents was the best he ever spent because apparently it started my family, and the rest is history.
The breath taking beauty of the North West is so majestic and despite the plasticness of everything modern, one can still feel the unadulterated timeless spirit of nature there. Ever since I read the letter from Chief Seattle to the President (part of it posted in a previous blog) about how we are all part of the web of life, the voice of his ancient fore fathers in the running river. And how he can't sell his heart but if Washington territory did become part of the US, he wanted the future generations to understand what this place was and to respect and preserve it. When I was a child I used to know Native Americans and visit the reservation up the road from our ranch at bone. And it saddens me to think how much we are failing to preserve Chief Seattle's wishes.
It's also amazing to think of a time that two grown men (Lewis and Clark) depended on a teenager and a baby (16 year old Sacajawea and her infant) for survival.
So now so many things in this area are named after the Guys, but all I saw named after Sacajawea was a motel made of logs.

HOW DID THINGS COME TO BE THIS WAY?
At some point in everyone's life, this question is asked. Where do we look to find the answer? Conventionally, American's mostly look to Science and the book of Genesis. Both essentially say the same thing: The universe, the world including all seas, trees, animals, women and children are here to serve man and that by birthright, men own all of us.
Our society says this to us everyday in many subtle ways and has for centuries since the dawn of Christianity. But it is not the truth. If we go back far enough into the reaches of time, we will see that all our spirits, the soul that is in everything is equal.
Life is precious, man and "Mankind" which is humankind should actually be the caretakers of everything and serve the greater good rather than consume and pollute all that is around them like a parasite does it's host.
The fact that we are separate and different from animals is true, and even more reason that proves that we should be caretakers because unlike animals we can perceive the whole picture.
Rather than stupefy ourselves with work, TV, drugs, etc. which blocks us from the responsibility that at first may be overwhelming, we need to rise up to and enjoy our responsibility, privilege, and power.
Our role in life then, becomes like a parent. For girls and women to become like a mother, and align themselves with Mother Nature, the mother of us all. We are now the mother of a sickly child, but one that shows a lot of promise.
Transversely we are the daughter of an ancient Grandmother, who we have always loved dearly, though we may have grown up in a place far from her, have always had a primal connection because her blood is in us.
Now you know this, have fun with the challenge of seeking the real truth of the origin of humankind, especially that of women, so for instance, when you see advertisements of too skinny white girls telling you this is the ideal of beauty, or hear of any of the environmental atrocities on the news or many other things that are just dismissed as "the way things are" it doesn't effect you because you are a seeker of the truth and so anything that is a lie does not touch you.
When this shift in reality is made, then a change will come for the better. This shift starts with you.
All people who live in North America, when looking to find a their true mythology should look to the Native Americans beliefs and traditions, for this is the true mythology that our society is based on. When it is unburied and becomes common knowledge and belief, then our current society will thrive.
Native American Chief Seattle put it best when he said: "How can you buy and sell the sky or the wind, if we do not own them?" Every part of this earth is sacred to my people. We know the sap which courses through the trees as we know the blood that courses through our veins. The waters murmur is the voice of my father's Father. Man did not weave the web of life he is merely a strand in it. What he does to the web, he does to himself. We love this earth as a newborn loves his mother's heartbeat.

One thing the American people have learned from the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is that sometimes the worst-case scenario really happens -- despite corporate promises to the contrary. As Anglo American continues its environmental and socioeconomic studies of the proposed Pebble Mine, I am standing with the communities of Bristol Bay who are overwhelmingly opposed to your risky plans, even more so in the wake of the ecological catastrophe caused by BP.
No matter how many assurances you give, we do not want another corporate giant gambling with the future of a critical ecosystem that supports prolific salmon runs, a vast array of wildlife, Native communities and thousands of sustainable jobs in fishing and tourism. The people of the Gulf states were given similar assurances that have proven to be hollow. BP claimed that a major spill was unlikely and that, in any case, a spill could be cleaned with little damage done. Today, we know better.
Anglo American is making similar promises, stating that it will develop a plan for the mine that is "environmentally responsible." But given that the Pebble Mine will generate some 10 billion tons of waste at the very headwaters of the pristine watershed that feeds Bristol Bay, even a small chance of catastrophe is too much to let you roll the dice with this irreplaceable ecosystem. Some risks are simply unacceptable. I urge you to accept the will of local residents, more than 80 percent of whom oppose the Pebble Mine.

INVITATION TO THE MAGIC MOTHER GODDESS DANCE
When I was six I began Catholic school. At the church, kitty corner from the school, I saw statues of Mother Mary and thought the rainbow patchwork light shining from the stained glass windows made her so beautiful. At the base of her statue I could make out words, faintly inscribed, under the serpents and roses where she stood: “Invitation to The Dance of Our Mother Goddess”.
I had just learned to read, and could also barely see the words, but they rang like a clear bell in my heart. “What do these words mean?” I thought “Where is the dance? I want to go! The nuns taught me her prayer, maybe the directions were there?” I held my rosary in my slightly sticky childish grip and contemplated some more, “Well at least I know that when spoken, these words take away any fears I have and even grant wishes!”
She even sort of resembled my own mother, with her long light brown hair, parted neatly in the middle, and understanding empathic gaze. My own mother was a nurse, which means it was her job, like Mary’s, to care about and for people. I thought that there were statues of Mary and none of God because she was the higher authority and the mother of God, thus kind of his “boss” the way my Mom was the boss of me.
At the age of six I instinctively knew the real truth, even though I knew no facts yet to back it up. Indeed God as we know him has a mother. His birthday was about four thousand years ago and before that people from all over the world knew and worshiped his mother. Her many names reflect her many roles and ethnicities.
The Black Madonna represents the ancient version of Virgin Mary, because many races, white, black, and in-between can trace their roots back to Africa. Astarte is another name of the Goddess, also known as The Great Mother, and The Light of The World, she is the first superstar, most highly regarded and oldest divinity in human herstory. All Indo-European cultures knew and loved her. Shrines to The Mother date back to the Neolithic Period.
She is the source of all creation as well as destruction. Like the Black Madonna, can see through the dark to the light, and is the Mother of us all. In India her name is Kali, In Ancient Greece, Demeter, The Anglo-Saxons called her Ostara, the Norse, Freya and the Egyptians addressed her as Isis.
She is Virgin, Judge, Mother, Bride, and Witch all melted into one. She is the Queen of the Moon and like all women has a right to change her mind. Indeed she changes and has even more phases than the moon, but that’s ok, everything is like that, the trees, seasons and female bodies too.
Those who are afraid of all this change thought it was chaos, but The Mother just thought it was fun. She laughs as she stirs her big swirling soup, the broth made from ocean water, seasoned with salt, stags with long antlers churn past, hawks, butterflies, snails, giant canyons, turn season by season doing pirouettes in her all inclusive Calderon. When the frightening thunder and lightning performs center stage, the rainbow has a chance afterward to take a beautiful glittering rain-bow.
Because her ship was so big and beautiful, and the mermaid mast-head so intuitive, and ethereal, and not “rational” , some macho priests decided to form a mutiny against Captain Goddess, and most of what we know as Western Civilization is the result.
The power of today’s civilization is only an illusion, that’s why some guys throw a big baby tantrum when their laws and institutions are questioned. These laws force the people, to put more money into making expensive, elaborate weaponry even if much of the public is against it.
Earthquakes, eclipses, and floods remind these men of the continued existence of The Goddess no matter how many rules and laws they make up. The Patriarch’s systematic killing of ancient forests is due to the fact that these sacred places are the cathedrals of The Goddess. These guys are just jealous that when given free choice more kids would run into the voluptuous arms of their pretty, all knowing, mother than the rigid, hard muscled arms of their strict father. This is why they put many veils of repression over our Mother so we couldn’t see or hear her.
These guys took away all her proper names and called her Jezebel. Four thousand years ago they gave her a public execution, and before she walked to the guillotine, Jezebel put on her Egyptian make up and all her royal jewelry. All the beautiful uncut gems from the earth, and a flower crown bedecked her head as the pantomime of her murder took place.
But fear not, my dears, the happy ending to this ancient tale is that the Goddess did not die because she cannot die, and is at this very moment coming back in all her glory with each Spring like each Spring. The Goddess, in her typical playful and ironic way is now dancing with her veils like Salome, throwing them off one by one to reveal a face that we love even more for the fact that her inherent, ethnic beauty frightens some ignorant men who proclaim they are modern, even though they are actually obsolete, old, and out-of-style.
But never mind those Fuddy-Duddy’s, they got lost and took the freeway they built, of course it didn’t lead them to the witch party, even though everyone is invited to The Magic Mother Goddess Dance.
We’ve got a big fire overlooking the ocean here, with glittering stars overhead, garlands of multicolored flowers and cornucopia of delicious food. We were born knowing all the steps to The Magic Mother Goddess Dance, and the witches are really letting down their hair now because after all that work and that long wait, girls just want to have fun!

The shows in San Francisco were amazing, and it was wonderful to see all my friends. My favorite show was Miss Oblivious night at the Vortex room Female Fronted was a blast, my favorite was sailor Hank, who did his own little drag /lip-sync show and looking like such a little glampire. He danced with Death By Doll too in his sailor costume. Hats off to Sailor Hank, because he is a performance art prodigy at the age of seven!

HOW DID THINGS COME TO BE THIS WAY?
At some point in everyone’s life, this question is asked. But where do we look to find the answer? Conventionally, Americans mostly look to science and to the book of Genesis. Both essentially say the same thing.
The universe, the world, including all seas, trees, animals, women, and children are here to serve man, and that by birthright men own all this. Our society says this to us everyday in many ways and has for centuries since the dawn of Christianity.
But it is not the truth.
If we go far back enough into the reaches of time we will see that all our spirits, the soul that is in everything is equal. Life is precious, man and “mankind” which is humankind should actually be the caretakers of everything and serve the greater good rather than consume and pollute all that is around them like a parasite does it’s host.
But we are separate and different than animals. This fact is true, and even more reason that proves that we should be caretakers, because unlike animals we can perceive the whole picture.
Rather than stupefy ourselves with work, leisure, TV drugs, etc. and block ourselves from the responsibilities (that at first may be overwhelming) we need to rise up to and enjoy our responsibility, privilege and power.
The role in our life then, becomes like a parent. For girls and women to become like a mother, and align themselves with Mother Nature, the mother of us all.
We are now the mothers of a sickly child, but one that shows a lot of promise. Transversely, we are the daughters of an ancient Grandmother who we have always loved dearly though we may have grown up in a place far from her. We have always had a primal connection because her blood is in us.
Now you know this, have fun with the challenge of seeking the real truth of the origin of humankind, especially that of women. So for instance, when you see adds of too skinny white girls telling you this is the ideal of beauty. Or hear of any of the environmental atrocities on the news or many other things that are just dismissed as “the way things are” it doesn’t affect you because you know you are a seeker of the truth. A lie does not touch you.
When this shift in reality is made, then a change will come for the better. This shift begins with you.

The Black Madonna
There are about 450-500 Black Madonna’s in Europe depending on how they are classified. There are at least 180 Vierges Noires in France. Some of which are associated with miracles and attract hordes of pilgrims.
Scholars with Afrocentrist, feminist, or neo-pagan backgrounds, have suggested that Black Madonna’s are descendants of pre-Christian mother or earth goddesses, often highlighting Isis as the key ancestor-goddess. Some psychologists have discussed maternal and female archetypes, often from a Jungian perspective, as well as themes of feminine power.
A link between the Black Madonna’s of the European Middle Ages and ancient pagan traditions and representations has been asserted. The Song of Songs 1:5 in the Old Testament: "I am black but comely, O daughters of Jerusalem, ..." These words are discussed at length in the sermons of St Bernard of Clairvaux. Several surviving Black Madonna’s are inscribed with these words, although in at least some cases the inscriptions were added at a later date.
Those writers who present esoteric interpretations of the Black Madonna’s usually include some combination of the following elements:
Black Madonna’s grew out of pre-Christian earth goddess traditions. Their dark skin may be associated with ancient images of these goddesses, and with the color of fertile earth. They are sometimes associated with stories of being found by chance in a natural setting: in a tree or by a spring, for example. It is further asserted that some of their Christian shrines are located on the sites of earlier temples to Cybele and Diana of Ephesus.
Black Madonna’s derive from the Egyptian goddess Isis. The dark skin may echo an African archetypal mother figure. Early Christian pictures of a seated mother and child are said to have been influenced by images of Isis and Horus.
The original skin tone of the Virgin Mary, is suggested to originate Jesus' family was more likely than not to have Semitic colors and features. Black Madonna’s express a feminine power that is not fully conveyed by a pale-skinned Mary, whom they assert symbolizes gentler qualities like obedience and purity. The "feminine power" approach is sometimes linked to female sexuality, which was allegedly repressed by the medieval Church.

Recorded with spooky singing saw in a very creepy time of my life where I lived in the ghetto in Brooklyn and had almost been murdered by a box cutter days before in 1994. One review of it was a girl who wrote in saying that she put the record on, then while it played got so spooked that she ran around the house locking all her doors and windows and was afraid to play it again!

The uncovering of the 7 inches has made me think about heritage through song. There are so many folk ballads taught to me from my Great Grandma, Grandpa, Dad, 78 records, that I have stored only in my mind. This is the traditional way that these songs have been archived for centuries, and now one thought is to record them from memory and release them so they can be heard and carried on. In the 5th century B.C. the “art of memory” technique was invented by the Greek poet Simonides. He could recite long tomes and when a roof collapsed in Thessaly at a big banquet hall, he, being the only survivor, used his amazing memory to recall where everyone was sitting at the table so when the remains of the others were uncovered they could be identified.
In medieval ages, no one could read or write themselves notes, and no one owned any books or music, so it’s interesting to think of the way singing bards, and druids must have been regarded. Thirteenth century theologian Thomas Aquinas composed the epic tome, Summa Theologica entirely in his head and then dictated it from memory.
The Jewish Talmud, has been passed town through word of mouth for centuries and traditional West African griots as well as South Slavic bards can recall epics the size of the Bible through memory alone.

The Portugal tour was awesome and we were very well received at the art exhibits, comic book convention, music shows, book signings and parties. Vincent and I would like to thank the Festival Internacional de BD de Beja, Centro Cultural Vila Flor, all FNAC stores, Labirintho Bar, Casa da Animacao and Armazem do Cha. Everyone treated us extremely well.
We would also like to give a very special thanks to our European manager Manuel Espirito Santo and his beautiful partner Paula. Manuel single handedly booked us, directed us, translated for us, argued for us and pointed us in the right direction at all times even when we were stumbling upon rocks, but most of all, he made us laugh. Portugal is like nowhere else in the world. It has the most ancient castles we went to one at Guimaraes which is called "the cradle of the world" because it is the oldest castle known in Europe. Some of the buildings there are so old their style originates from Muslim culture. The tiles are elaborate and strangely psychedelic and the streets are made from shiny black and white tiles in stripes. Also there were thriving arts communities where people painted their houses and had a magic garden. An art teacher from Lisbon brought me a hand knit shawl made by his witch mother and he brought a birthday cake made from walnuts he grew in his garden made into the shape of a nut-rabbit! The most amazing thing about Europe is they have government funding, which sustains amazing classy venues for art and artists! Check out my Facebook soon for more photos.

It's wonderful here in Porto Portugal, the events have been fantastic.
VI Festival Internacional de BD de Beja was really great. The Art show profiled many artists from all parts of Europe. The harmony of how the various styles went together was beautiful. My favorite animator profiled there was Regina Pessoa - she also designed Alice in Wonderland themed Port wine that came with a book, revolutionary and edgy in concept I am getting several of these for my friends and family to remember beautiful Portugal.
Today I went to Torre dos Clerigos, which is the highest tower in Porto looking out over the city. This looked like a century’s old sculpture mansion made to Jesus.
One thing I know is the Portuguese are mad for mosaics!
The streets are made up of small stones formed into intricate patterns like sea shells, and all the homes are made from colorful tiles each building with a different pattern. I collected shells from the beach and they looked like the same color palate and patterns.
The beautiful face of a building like a once lovely lady now with dirty hair and some teeth missing, but she still wears her priceless jewelry inherited from her great grand mother, though she is now old, too.

Lincoln/Kennedy Time spiral
The relation of events in a TIME SPIRAL rather than TIME
LINE; and the EXPLINATION of seemingly random COINCIDENCE:
KENNEDY HAD A SECRETARY NAMED LINCOLN.
We always assume that the “Time Line” is the logical way that time runs, however, this seemingly irrefutable fact is misleading. Indeed, time runs like an onion skin, a tree ring cross section or a movie reel. Yes, time does not run in a line at all but in a spiral.
A spiral in fact is one of the key principals to witchcraft and is found in something as large as a black hole vortex and as small as a sea shell. Previous events are assumed for future events to arise, the principle of cause and effect, and the idea behind physics and metaphysics, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is not a line but an echo, and if we could see an echo it would look like a ripple and a ripple looks like, again, a series of rings.
It is inconceivable for any events to arise without a cause. But what is the source of this cause? If we had a reel of movie film, each frame representing an instant of time. The movie runs and one singular frame at a time is projected, the other frames have already been seen or are waiting to be seen and are in a place where they are waiting.
Unexpressed existence. This is where is all the unseen spirals of time are. Coiled up infinite and where we can assume they are stored for weeks, days and centuries, past, present, and future. If we were then to thrust a hat pin long ways through the film it would create a series of holes that seemed random but would align events.
This would explain the seemingly random coincidences that happen between poignant circumstances and coincidences in names and numbers in one's personal life and in history. Time/space continuum and being able to see all times/spaces through the holes made in the reel would occur during very euphoric or tragic happenings, the cause of extreme energy negative or positive.
ABRAHAM WAS THE FIRST NAME OF THE MAN WHO FILMED KENNEDYS MURDER IN THE LINCOLN
One of the most famous examples of this are the seemingly random John F Kennedy/ Abraham Lincoln assassination conspiracy theories which are wrought with matching numbers, dates , and names. Again, these are not random, but sewn together through the passion and trauma experienced like a skip in a record of millions of lives throughout the world, causing the pinhole in the film reel of time through the centuries.

Even your wildest fantastic dreams can be realized, and are never wrong. The reason you want what you want is because it is your divine destiny and you have this lifetime and a birthright to have it. Perhaps why you want it is because it is unfinished business from a last life, now is your chance!
Your friends and family are your guides and support system, also your mirror. Accept them for who they are and listen without judgment to what they have to say.
Spend some quiet time with your own best thoughts. Peacefully consider the goodness and value in your life, and feel the warmth that those thoughts bring, this way you can find peace in even the most sad or anxious times.

Reflections on Japan
I loved doing shows in Japan, Press Pop flew me there a few times and the shows were great, I played in the Harijuku district of Tokyo in a rock venue with big windows looking over the endless neon skyscape. Amazing beautiful gothic lolita girls came to the show in hand made dresses with fabric printed with my comics, the weirdest thing was when teenagers approached me to sign a 7 inch I put out when I was nineteen called Mexican Crawling Poppy Seed.
I never dreamed I would see it in the future again like this. I now understand better the whole Japanese perspective and why comics, gothic Lolita and other music and things I do appeals to them. We are alike because we both understand the apocalypse, the whole “spooky cute” phenomenon that comes from their innate Dadaism and the collective psychic pain of an ancient culture that was violated by the atom bomb. Thus the whole Japanese thing of cute butterfly baby heads vomiting blood. Oh BTW something I noticed, everything there is made into a cutesy face. Hello Kitty has a billion morphed clones.
For example the cab had a little STD warnings guide pamphlet in it of a hello kitty/penis waving hello and telling you some friendly facts in Japanese. It’s also a little 20’s style Betty Boop/Acid trip to make everything have a cute talking face. Oh, and during Christmas there was a window display of Santa crucified with presents all around him.

Mermaids
The beauty and elusive mystery of mermaids will allure mortal imagination with it’s persuasion of sensual love eternally. Mermaids are the ultimate perception of femininity and untamed emotion.
A mermaid is a woman who is half human and half fish. She is the embodiment of transformation and alchemy. Half human and half Atlantian, she can reach into the ether of magic to manifest magic in reality. She is the go-between the two worlds. Her song is immortal. Girls who are on the verge of growing up feel like they are in a transformation stage when the fantasy of becoming a mermaid and having all the alluring charms of a woman but still being free from the bonds of society.
The oldest image in mermaid mythology is the goddess Atargatis from Syria, where she is seen in the form of a statue a woman from the waist up and a fish from there down. All sea goddesses reflect the sea's qualities. The sea can be gentle and nurturing or violent and deadly. The sea is alternately, beautiful, cruel, tender, loving, calm, or destroying, so too can be mermaids. On a broader scale, this is man's view of nature. The mermaid, a fantastic creature, is nature herself.
Mami Wata is another timeless mermaid from Africa known for excesses. She has an inhuman beauty, unnaturally long hair, and a pale, unearthly complexion. She represents all races and her hair is combed straight back from her forehead and described as straight, curly or kinky and either black or blonde. Her illustrious, enticing gaze only enhances her ethereal beauty. In many parts of West and Central Africa, when a lady is called "Mami Wata" it’s a slang term for a gorgeous woman, she’s basically being called a mermaid, what a great compliment!
Mami Wata deities are closely associated with water. Traditions on both sides of the Atlantic tell of people who have returned from the paradisiacal realm of a mermaid which may be underwater, in the spirit realm or both. The people who were captured usually while boating or swimming were released on a mermaid demand, it may be even as simple as not eating any more fish. Those who return are miraculously in dry clothing and gaze at the world with a new deeper spiritual understanding. Often these survivors in time grow more beautiful, their lifestyles more lavish and abundant, and their personalities more easygoing after the encounter.

Farm Sanctuary is a place where mistreated animals can live in peace and be treated
kindly after a life of torture. As a vegetarian of 20 years I believe in this cause
because all life is precious and all our spirits are part of the mother.
I have donated art to Farm Sanctuary before so they can auction it to raise money
to help the animals.
My dear friend Maya Gottfried works with them on a close and frequent basis and just
got a children’s book published about the farm which part of the proceeds go to.

Those bitches are gonna get it for not letting me go to the ball, pretty is as pretty does, that’s what my Mother used to say, (may she rest in peace,) and even though they might have more money for fancy gowns, I have magic!”
A voice somewhere in the dark behind her interrupted her rant, “Did you say magic? Well here I am!” Cinderella turned to see her Faeiry–God Mother.
“Wow!” Said Cinderella. “I love your look!” For her Faeiry-God Mother not only had an elaborate glittering aquamarine baroque gown made from twall and toole, but she also looked supernaturally young, no older than 18 or so, and upon closer inspection, as Faeiry-God Mother held her glowing wand closer to her face Cinderella saw a striking resemblance to herself!
“Thanks” said Cinderella’s Faeiry-God Mother, “You like this dress, right? Well it will fit you perfectly because I AM YOU! And you can borrow it indefinitely! So let’s D.I.Y. Handicraft you some footmen from mice and a beautiful carriage out of a pumpkin so you can make it to the ball on time.”
And with a wave of the wand Cinderella was off to the ball, waving good bye to her smiling (but shivering) Faeiry-God Mother who stood in the dark garden wearing only her slip.

JOAN OF ARC
Joan of Arc found a sword in a field when she was 10. She believed this sword was given to her from God and that it signified that she should become a soldier.
Logic dictates that this sword did not descend from the heavens, but rather was thrown into the field by a wandering marauder or any other mundane scenario.
However, even if this sword arrived in the field by normal means, the fact that Joan found it and it represented to her the tool by which her country was liberated, still makes the sword divine, and divinely obtained.
It was Joan's inner strength and certainty that won her an interview with the Prince of France and convinced him to give her an army, horses and weapons, though she was only a peasant girl. Joan was fearless, she ran straight towards the dragon of her fear, and like the unreal thing which it was, it disappeared when she approached, leaving her only with courage and accomplishment.
Joan saw the Prince of France as her patron and as them both as equals under God, which they were.
After she won her battles, which she won by inspiring the men of her army who admired her courage but also were motivated out of a mixture of love for her and how she represented their country meaning all women and the earth, the definition of true chivalry.
But also, that she was a girl, she was an amazing soldier, but she was only a teenager.
Men twice her age, seasoned soldiers were inspired by her because they thought if a girl could do it they could do it too. Her victories made the Prince of France the King, and liberated her country.
In the end when she was captured by the Brittish and burned at the stake, for being a heritic and a witch, it was not because God had failed her, and not because she had failed God. Her faith was true and pure, divinely and directly connected to God and not the faith of the Patriarch Church.
Joan had been a faithful messenger and servant, it was her King that failed her, merely because she continued to take direction from God and not from the King. She never regarded the King of France to be her leader in the first place. It may also have perhaps been a slip up of ego on Joan's part, which is a reminder to keep ourselves in check everyday to see where our inner voice is coming from.
Regardless, she was captured and killed at the age of nineteen. She was recognized as a saint 500 years after her death and even today is one of the most remembered women in all of history, even though she was only a teenage girl.
Her life on this mortal plane was brief but bright, and perhaps only a short prelude to her eternal immortality. Shine on forever, Joan of Arc, and shine in all girls to make them truely driven and confident.

Movie reviews....
I love costume dramas, surrealist and I guess horror and art movies. like the Forbidden Zone, I like silent films, apocalypse movies. My favories are Chumscrubber with Glen Close, Barry Lyndon by Kubrick anything by Kubrick except for Eyes Wide Shut (which was done after he died and they just used his name to sell this crap).
Anything by Werner Herzog, anything by Wes Anderson, (I know I'm a sap) any thing by Terry Gilliam, Anything by Todd Haynes. Michel Gondry does good contempory work, Spike Jonze does good movies as well.
I love those really DA DA Betty Boop cartoons from the 20's that cab calloway sings on, (The 30's were the 20's dark and sad twin you know) the best time in the world was 1927, besides 1999 (when we partied in NYC like it was...) The Marie Antionette by Girly Copola looks great but is less filling on plotline. My doll Isabelle loves it though because she doesn't care about stuff like content, she's a rococo fetishist.
Another movie Isabelle loves is Night Of The Hunter where Lillian Gish plays an old christian lady battling a dimented preacher with a shotgun while she sings a hymn in Harmony with him. This movie starrs a doll, thats why Isabelle loves it, she also loves Death Becomes Her because the ladies in that movie become dolls! Also, I love it because I loves me up some Isabella Rossellini , especially as a 20's flapper that lives eternal and has hundreds of young boy sex slaves. Wow!
Beauty and The Beast,...you know by the French director whos name escapes me right now. I think this version is from the 50's? It has a scene where as beauty glides etherially down the corridor the wall sconces of mens arms holding candles move to light her way.
Also I like this cute (but hippy) movie called Brother Sun Sister Moon about St. Francis Assi. Speaking of churchy stuff... The Devils by Ken Russell 1971. An account of the apparent demoniacal possession of the 17th-century nuns of Louden, climaxing in the burning of their priest as a sorcerer. There is the cutest cabaret scene in it where a georgeous gay boy plays the Venus Di Milo. This is also like the 1971 release of The Wicker Man. A lot of the best movies came out in 1971. Dark and psychedelic. This was a trippy time to be born.
The Blue Angel with Marlene Deitchrich is also a great Cabaret Film and is sorta like the movie Freaks I just realized. Also, I think Interview with a Vampire is the most hilarious movie in the planet! Just a laugh riot all the way through, (and another doll movie that Isabelle loves, she especially loves the scene where the little vampire girl cuts off her hair and is throwing a panty fit because she never gets any older, she also kills her nanny and hides her under her giant pile of dollies so she can keep feeding on her later ( the first time a giant pile of dolls has ever been used as a refrigerator in all of movie history). My bandmate Skippy brought that video over when I was sick one time and it made me feel a lot better.
Speaking of Vampire movies Valerie and her Week of Wonders is the best. Salem's Lot the most scarry. Herzog does a great Dracula too with Klaus Nomi (He is also the star of a documentary called My Best Fiend) and the one where William DeFoe plays Dracula is awesome ...Shadow of the Vampire.
I always draw the endless pages and commision designs while watching movies, and crafting. I tried to watch The Serpent and the Rainbow last night but it was too scarry cause I was home alone. I watched Gone with the Wind (which is a costume drama AND an apocalyptic movie all in one) over and over for a month one time. I just didn't care to see anything else. The spaghetti western The Good the Bad and The Ugly is a gothic americana apoclypse movie as well and old timey to boot! I want to see Let The Right One In but its apparantly with subtitles and I can't watch these kinds of movies and craft at the same time unfortunately, becaue alot of the best movies are not in english.

Here’s how Victoria and her pretty little sister Tennesse went from being traveling snake oil psychic kids to owning their own empire and brownstone on the upper east side…
First, they published their own Newspaper (sound like any one you know, I wonder if it had a comix section?) Next, they had lovely girls (and guys) peddle it on streetcorners as was the way to sell newspapers back in the day.
Todays version of this is flyering shows and posters around town, posting events on local blogs and events sites and sections and simply word of mouth among friends.

Hi everyone, Fantagraphics and I have a new deal, they are going to publish Meat Cake only as Graphic novel compilations.
They are continuing to distribute Meat Cake individual comix that they have in print.The ones that are out of print I now have the freedom to self publish again
Here are the issues that are in and out of print:
#3, 8, 11-14 and 16, 17 are all IN print, so #1, 2, 4-7, 9-10 and 15 are gone.#8 and #11 are both down to under 100 copies.

their Edgar Allan Poe-based production Haunted Poe (October 1 –

the master of the macabre with a special doll crafting workshop and

The two-hour workshop will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will be led by
artist and performer Dame Darcy. Workshop participants will craft
dolls related to the women in Poe’s life and stories, such as Sarah
Elmira Royster, Virginia Clemm, and Sarah Helen Whitman. Participants
will also have the opportunity to have their work displayed in the
production of Haunted Poe in October.
The cabaret, Murder Ballads, Shanties, and other Poe-etics, will
feature performances by:
Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and performances begin at 9:00 p.m.
The workshop fee is $25, which includes materials, light snacks and
admission to the cabaret. Cabaret-only tickets are $5. Tickets are
available online at hauntedpoe.com.
Just across the street, audiences can also visit the Edgar Allan Poe
National Historic Site, where Poe lived and penned some of his
best-known works from 1838 – 1844. The house is open with free
admission from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Last year in NYC, I did a Cabaret at the Slipper Room called Naughty Nautical Night (NNN) We are beginning to coordinate NNN PDX @ the FEZ in downtown PDX as well as a series of daytime weekend tea parties. Definitely NNN and maybe the tea parties I could possibly pay, but it depends on self motivation and how many people show up at the events. The NNN involves; an MC, a DJ, Nautical-themed dancing girls and costumes, musical comedy, variety acts, burlesque, circus...stage hands, PR (real and virtual promotions) etc.
Job Description: deciding on themes, setting up dates for shows (bookings), talent coordination ie calling cast and crew, PR, providing PR to crew and cast to help ie delegating promotion. Again, there can be $ in this for you, it depends how well you do this job. For tea parties, same as above, but way less hectic.
CARPENTER
I have a 1902 craftsman house I live in, a door in the house won't shut, I need it fixed so the door can latch. That is my practical request, also I need help building bookshelves. My whimsical request is this...I have a crawl space that I want to put musical equipment in, but I want it to double function as a doll house for my doll, Isabelle. If you can do the door, but not the doll house, that's ok, but the door is a necessity and emergency right now. Thank You!

Hey! The show at The Civilian art projects went smashingly well, Carol's work was beautiful and I loved all the DC characters that showed up.We had a super fun party at her restaurant afterwards, and a lot of my pieces sold. I loved DC and I stared at my Obama inauguration metrocard for the longest time, because it gives me hope and made me so happy to visit a giant pentagram with the black magic of ages being cleansed by the new awesome way that is coming for us all. The beautiful intricate doll castles and roman colosseum, and all the erodite population particularly how the guys there dress like business vampires and are from everywhere. DC has its secrets, everyone can tell, but Portland has it's faeiry secrets, hiding in little hollows and coves just on the other side of the mundane everyday world.
The fertile overabundance greenery taking over all other life forms and the constant rich smell of wet, dark, earth, it makes me feel like I'm left out of the greatest party ever and I really want to go. I will miss the fancy events in DC, here in Portland, and who will go to the faeiry inauguration with me?

*Hand Book For Hot Witches
WHAT HAS BEEN REVEALED
The truth is the blood and guts of ones soul that comes oozing out
when one has been smashed alive by God like a bug.
I found my own Hand Book For Hot Witches two days ago.
It’s called Confessions of a Pagan Nun, by Kate Horseley. I want to ask the publishers
if I can make it into a graphic novel because it rocks so hard and would be a wonderful
teaching tool for so many.
God gave it to me because I was in agonizing pain
and I asked for my life to unfold every moment and reveal the path to peace.
I was walking in the cold wind crying. I saw a pile of books and in a moment drew
my hand to the first one I picked. I practice bibliomancy, by asking the universe questions
and flipping through a book to land on the word or phrase in the book to answer the question.
This is like bibliomancy but with a whole book that every word of every page answers every question I can think of.
I have asked God for this before and I can practice Living every moment in the present because I learned how through Buddhism.
When in this practice, I notice the gifts all around me and magnetize exactly what I need and request.
I also keep my mind and options open to receive new gifts and lessons.
This book had been translated from a manuscript written first hand by Gwynneve,
a witch in the dark ages around 450 AD.The time when Pagans were beginning to be slaughtered by Christians.
Reading her writings is like having her sitting across from me as a friend,
telling me everything as if we were having a conversation.
I want to reach back in time to the 1500’s and give her a hug to tell her it’s ok.
Her words made it to the future and I will do everything I can to put it into practice.
This manuscript was revealed to me because we are now in another dark age,
where we can learn valuable lessons from her on how to go back to Paganism now that the patriarchy,
and industrialization has run its course.
The age of Pisces is coming to a close and the age of Aquarius is here,
this is what the Myans are talking about when they refer to 2012 being the end of time.
My best friends in New York are Jewish and Tibetan; both are races that know gentricide and injustice.
I know why I so deeply empathize and obsess on justice for these crimes against nature and family
because I now so clearly know my race has been brutalized for centuries.
Although I am white, I am not whitey.
In fact I am the cracker attacker!
I am the race of the Fae, or the “Bean Sidhe” as the book told me.
I can feel the pain of every forest burning, of every animal that goes extinct or is tortured in a factory farm,
every political prisoner, the fish choking in the ocean.
I feel them because I AM them, they are my race.
When I wrote my graphic novel Gasoline it came from this, but now I know I have to create
the utopian renaissance and rebirth out of the industrial dark ages we are now in.
I wrote about it in a book, but it has to manifest here in life first in the weird virtual
world of telecommunications and then in reality.
There is a place where particles of matter and waves are the same.
There are no words for this place, but it is where a Druid can breathe onto a stone and it turns to dust.
It is time to dwell and go to this place, to never forget where it is.
I have to go to Portland Oregon because of the strange combination of Technology
and the spirits of trees and how they both can help me begin a new society.
I have lived in a city with a population no less than 8 million because of the dreams and promises
that a metropolis has to offer. New Yorkers have to spend ninety percent of their incomes on apartments
they still think are too small, and they have the lowest breakup rates in the country because
there is no other place for the broken up with to move.
But I have now found that the limitations and dreams I accepted when I was younger
have either been realized or have been revealed to be delusional.
They have metamorphosised into a narrow and secret passage leading to an expanse of space
and liberation I had not realized existed. I now prefer peaceful surrender to noble battle,
for in peace is an eternal freedom one never has in war, though sometimes fighting is necessary for external freedom.
My disappointment is not bitter, because I once was with a companion who did not turn his back on truth.
In the book the Faeiry lady Gwynneve looses her witch mother to death by medieval worms.
Her mother was unrepentant and howled at the moon, carefully picking herbs from the forest
and had hair like a fine long black cloak over her tattered real cloak.
Her soul mate Witch Husband was slaughtered by Christians.
Although I have lost my witch husband soul mate, I find solace in knowing it at least has not been to death.
On our wedding day he promised to weave me a crown from his raven black hair to wear over my yellow faeiry hair.
He promised to raise our adopted daughters to be witches in paradise and never know the suffering of this patriarchy,
and to care for me even if I lose my mind. He said I’d get even more beautiful when I am old.
He recognized me from Atlantis where we used to live, and showed me his Druid tricks,
which he specialized in through education, ancient thought and technology.
He promised to help me use all this to make the movie for my book Gasoline if all the other promises of others failed.
I mourn over the loss of these promises now gone and the hope that burned bright with them.
I am not crying because I am being negative, as I have been accused, nor am I crying because I am being weak.
Being a robot devoid of Passion and able to turn off his emotions does not make a man stronger.
It takes more strength to feel.
But I now know there are two reasons I have no home and have been a wanderer my entire life.
I have to create my home, which I know how to do now, thanks to the brutal heartbreak and enlightenment
that has befallen me upon the release of my magnum opus and the loss of my soul mate at once,
and also because I am a Druid, who have to wander to learn and pass on their teachings.
A teaching and quote from Gwynneve for all the hot witches, from one Druid to another:
“And here I say that a woman can ally herself with men’s power as long as she has her youth to offer.
But when a woman looses her youth, she will regret playing that game.
And she will wish she had instead learned the art of druid or warrior to make those less wise respect her capacity for affection."
The definition of chivalry is for men to serve and protect women. It is an ideal and I believe is not entirely dead.
But when all else fails, women do not need to rely on men for protection.
And by the way, the only reason women ever need protection is usually from other men.
I am facing the patriarchy again now without my witch husband, I am weary of the inane games it forces me to play,
but I am thankful that though I no longer have my true love, I do have my friends and family so I am not alone.

So, the Portland events are still yet to be announced, but what I do know is that I'M MOVING TO PORTLAND OREGON!
I am moving to Portland because I keep hearing it's witchy, environmental, liberal, cartoonist friendly, low overhead and higer standard of living, and my family lives there. I am really nervous and kind of scared because I never lived there before and I don't really know what to expect.
This move was not really planned for, but due to circumstances beyond my control is necessary.
I will still be going to NY and LA on a regular basis to produce my Gasoline Feature Film that is currently in the works, because the book is out now. BTW, it's half feral (D.I.Y) so if any one has any leads , ideas, or suggestions pertaining to film production please contact me here at damedarcy@damedarcy.com.

***GASOLINE SYNOPSIS*** Through the destruction of contemporary society emerges a world of extremes. Nihilism vs. socialism is the name of the game in a new time where magic replaces technology. The 38-year-old killer whale has sparked controversy since she was first sold to Seaquarium for $6,000 in 1970 after being snatched from her family pod in Puget Sound — a practice now effectively banned there. Lolita's defenders decry not only confining such an intelligent marine mammal, but also the size of her tank, which is less than two of her body lengths wide at any point. "That's like living your whole life in your closet," activist Shelby Proie says.
As Lolita nears 40, there's a renewed push for her "retirement," especially as Seaquarium touts a new $5 million swimming-with-dolphins facility, making the rickety killer whale tank seem like a marketing afterthought. Activists want to see her moved to a sea pen, where it is hoped she might eventually re-join family. And the movement has gained some celebrity friends: Hollywood producer Raul Julia-Levy, son of the late actor Raul Julia, recently told Newsweek he was planning a benefit concert for Lolita, with Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent onboard.

After watching spandex-clad volunteers ride sea mammals around a tank to "Surfin' U.S.A.," we skulked over to Lolita's stadium. While the meager crowd mostly cheered the flopping whale, Wanda Campbell left midshow, trailing her young son. "It's just sort of sad, isn't it?" she said.

Hi you! Never forget, you are battastic ^v^
So the Comic Con is coming right around the corner, kinda like when you are running really fast and you can't see what's around the corner and some one else is running on the other side of the building and you crash right into each other, like a cartoon, but when it happens in real life it hurts for reals! Anyway, this time I trust it won't hurt, and I am going to be doing signings for a book I collaborated on with other cartoonists to illustrate Tori Amos songs called Comic Book Tattoo.
Saturday July 26th Tori will be signing at 11:30 AM I will be signing from 4:00 - 6:00 at the Comic Book Tattoo table at the Image Booth at 6:15 - 7:00 I'll be signing the latest edition of Meat Cake at the Fantagraphics Booth same day and again on Sunday at 12:00 noon - 1:00
The new Meat Cake reveals many magical secrets so don't miss this issue, NUMBER 17.
